The first thing to decide before choosing what kind of marquee you are going to have is to choose the location, and then within that location decide where are you going to erect the marquee for your event. Which area are you going to choose for your marquee?
First things first pick your location. This will depend on your event, for example if it is for your wedding you are not limited to your home town, you can decide to have your wedding wherever you choose for example you may want to travel to an old English town down south, or up north near Scotland. If the event is for a birthday party or for corporate event you may want to keep it close to home for the sake of people travelling and for ease. Type of location for the type of event
A great way to ensure you are choosing the perfect location for your marquee is to think about the type event you are holding and then think what type of venue would be great for this in the way of facilities and to fit the theme. For example it would be far more picturesque for your wedding marquee to be placed in a striking garden with lots of trees and outdoor fairy lights, or maybe within a field that is very scenic with lovely views and maybe a running stream, than in the middle of a city centre that is loud and busy. A city centre venue is more suited to business and corporate events where the hussle and bussle of the city actually goes with the theme of a forward thinking and the fast paced running business.
Choosing the location of your marquee can make the world of difference for your event, and so have a think to the type of mood you would like to create for your guests and this will take you in the right direction.
